Overview

The Cherry KC 1000 SC is a wired security keyboard with an integrated smart card terminal, combining a classic Cherry office keyboard with secure PIN entry. It saves desk space and a separate reader, making it well suited to organisations that use smart cards for login or authentication.

The PC/SC, CCID-compatible reader reads and writes ISO 7816 smart cards and meets FIPS-201 requirements. The low card slot allows one-handed operation, and drivers are available for Windows, macOS and Linux.
