Overview

The iKey AK-39 is a rugged keyboard designed to be worn on the arm, giving a simple, compact way to enter data without restricting the user's movement. It is designed to meet MIL-461 standards for very harsh electromagnetic interference (EMI) environments and is aimed at military and public safety users.

Despite its small footprint it includes an FSR pointing device with left- and right-click, plus adjustable green LED backlighting that can also be specified in a night vision (NVIS) compatible configuration. A snap-on faceplate, designed with gloved users in mind, prevents accidental keystrokes and lifts off easily so the pad can be cleaned.
